Yazeed is a seasoned professional, with over 16 years of experience, with an outlook on business strategy, governance and internal controls, risk management, and investment. His exposure spans various core industry sectors, including The Public Investment Fund (PIF) the sovereign wealth fund of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, regulatory authorities (the Capital Market Authority and General Investment Authority), the Royal Commission for Riyadh City, and financial services (AlBilad Bank), in addition to the telecom industry (Saudi Telecom Company).

He has successfully delivered several sensitive and high-profile initiatives, with the landmark achievement being the transformation exercise of the PIF Portfolio Companies Governance Department. The governance mechanism applied to the 100+ portfolio companies allows the Fund to have better oversight of the progress against the Kingdom’s strategic vision.

Yazeed has implemented institutionalized and sustainable processes and procedures, thereby ensuring continuous growth and success. Having embraced the need for continuous development, after graduating from King Saud University with a BSc in Quantitative Methods, he continued with a Master of Financial Management at the University of Hull. These academic qualifications were complemented by professional certifications in Corporate Governance, Risk Management, International Compliance Certificate, Corporate Finance, and Leadership Development from renowned international institutions.
