Attested professional with over 13 years of experience in Sovereign Wealth Funds, capital markets, organizational development, and regulators with a core focus on Portfolio and Corporate Governance, Compliance, International Relations, Public Policy, and Strategy. Participated in the early stages of the inception and launch of the Portfolio Companies Governance Department in the Public Investment Fund and its owned portfolio of companies as well as the Corporate Governance Department in the Capital Market Authority.

Since 2016, Sheikha has been discharging a bundle of assignments to the leadership of PIF on both board of directors and executive management levels; including the reengineering of boards in portfolio companies and its committee as well as enhancing the performance of the portfolio through the installation of proper safeguard measures and value drivers in line with global governance best practices.

Sheikha is the General Secretary of the Portfolio Companies Nomination Committee in PIF, a member of the Board of Directors of the Eastern Province Cement Company, a Member of the Board of Managers of the Centre for Governance, and a member of the Saudi Shooting Federation.

Sheikha joined the delegation to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (as an economist and data analyst) and contributed to studies on the Middle East and North Africa region.

She obtained an MBA in International Business Administration from Middlesex University in the United Kingdom in 2012 and a BsC in Languages and Translation from Prince Sultan University in 2009.
